Location Address

Details about the location (or physical) address of the place are represented in six attributes:

• street - The location address of the place.
• suite - The unit or apartment number.
• city - The city name for the location.
• state - The state or province of the place.
• postal_code - The postal code for the location address.
• country_code - The country code of the location.
• zip - The 5-digit ZIP Code for the place.
• zip_four - The zip+4 code for the place.
• address_type_code - The type of address for the location.
• carrier_route_code - The carrier route for the location address as assigned by the USPS.
• delivery_point_bar_code - The bar code for the postal route, assigned to the physical address.
• cmra_flag - Indicates whether the location is a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency.
• mailing_score_code - The deliverability score of the location address.

Mailing Address

When a place receives mail at a different address from their physical location, a mailing address is collected.

Places can receive mail in different states than they are physically located:

• mailing_address - The PO Box or RR Box of the place.
• mailing_address_city - The town or municipality where the place receives mail.
• mailing_address_state - The state or province of the mailing address.
• mailing_address_postal_code - The postal code for the mailing address.
• mailing_address_zip - The 5-digit ZIP code for the mailing address.
• mailing_address_zip_four - The 4-digit ZIP extension for the mailing address.
• mailing_address_type_code - The type of mailing address for the business.
• mailing_address_carrier_route_code - The carrier route for the mailing address as assigned by the USPS.
• mailing_address_delivery_point_bar_code - The bar code for the postal route, assigned to the mailing address.
• mailing_address_cmra_flag - Information on whether the mailing address listed for the place is a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency.
• mailing_address_score_code - The deliverability score of the mailing address.

Geographic Coordinates

Coordinates are a latitude and longitude for the physical location of the business.

Geocoded Coordinates

Geocoded coordinates are calculated from the address. Typically they represent a parcel centroid or entrance from the street address:

• latitude - The latitude of the place.
• longitude - The longitude of the place.
• geo_match_level - The precision level of the latitude and longitude.

Manual Coordinates

Manual coordinates are collected by pinpointing exact buildings on a map. They are often more accurate than geocoded coordinates.
