Active Status

The People Database is made up of active and inactive records. Active people have been validated from a source in the last 24 months.

Inactive records consist of:

• People not validated in the last 24 months.
• People who have requested suppression.
• People at their previous addresses.
• People who are deceased.

Data Axle maintains inactive records to increase performance in certain use cases, such as data append, modeling, skip tracing, and fraud prevention.

Recency Dates

Recency dates describe latest observation times for a person or family:

• updated_on - The date when the latest information was obtained or confirmed for the individual.
• family.confirmed_on - The date when the family was last confirmed.
• family.appeared_on - The date the family moved into the location.
• family.estimated_appeared_on - A range that estimates the date the family moved into the residence.
