Overview
The primary indicators of a B2C Link record's status are:
workplace.in_business
- The operational status of the business.link_confidence
- The match confidence of an executive to the workplace and home.
Link Confidence
Records with a link_confidence
greater than or equal to 80 are considered high-quality. Records with a link_confidence
between 70 and 79 can be considered for matching. Records with a link_confidence
lower than 70 are not recommended for use.
A number of factors influence the final link_confidence
score. These include the in_business
status of the workplace, the quality of the contact, the source of the contact data, the number of matches between a contact and a consumer record, and the fields that the contact and the consumer record matched on. For simplicity, and because the formula of the score is subject to change, most of these fields are not available on the record.
Other Status & Recency Fields
Because the B2C Link database represents People as well as Places, the Status & Recency documentation for those databases is also relevant. However, some pre-processing occurs during the creation of B2C Links. For example, a vast majority of inactive People are not included in B2C Links. This means filtering by home.active
is not required.
